However, as of 1st April 2026, patients and practices no longer have the freedom to register patients directly on an ad-hoc basis. Under the new NHS Wales guidance, all patients seeking an NHS dental practice must now register through the central portal system.

We have therefore been advised to direct all patients to complete the portal registration form using the link below. Once submitted, the Health Board will allocate you to a suitable dental provider based on availability and locality. Please note, this may not necessarily be Dental Academy Conwy and could be another local practice.
